ARTIS ZOO AMSTERDAM. Founded in 1838, it is the oldest public zoo on the European continent. The web site provides information about all the institution's facilities, the zoo, planetarium and botanical garden, just to name a few. Currently, the text is in the Dutch language only, except for a visitors information page available in several languages including English.
